Hello!
My name is Tara Kubian, an Annandale special education teacher who is passionate about working with learners of all ages! I believe that the ability to read is paramount to all areas of life success. My goal is to help people, school-aged to adult, to become strong, confident readers.
My services are described in more detail in the Services section.
I currently have limited hours available now through the end of the school year and more availability through the summer. Services are provided at Annandale High School. Contact me directly for more information!

2024: Completed CORE (Consortium on Reaching Excellence in Education) Online Language and Literacy Academy training. This program is required by the MN Dept. of Education and is founded on the Science of Reading, emphasizing the use and integration of the 5 essential components of reading instruction: phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Experienced with the Barton Reading and Spelling System, Reading Milestones, Reading Mastery, and Mega Words: Decoding, Spelling, and Understanding Multisyllabic Words
